As of July 1, 2026, a new Category III CPT® code 1036T is effective for non-invasive hemodynamic assessment. The code describes a single assessment that measures pulmonary pressures and ejection fraction when performed, through passively acquired acoustic and electrical signals, applies augmentative algorithmic analysis, and produces a clinical report that a physician or qualified health care professional reviews, interprets, and integrates into care.
The CPT code description maps directly to how the Sensydia Cardiac Performance System (CPS) works, including its foundation in passively acquired acoustic and electrical signals, and recognizes the service as augmentative.
